Super Eagles Begins Training In London, To Train At Wembley On Friday

The team arrived in London on Wednesday on board a chartered flight, after their friendly match on Monday against DR Congo at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, the Super Eagles of Nigeria were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by the Leopards od DR Congo on Monday.

A tweet posted on the Super Eagles verified Twitter handle is quoted as  saying:

The team will have their official training at Wembley Stadium on Friday at 5 pm.“Our press conference ahead of Saturday’s international friendly against England holds tomorrow, Friday, June 1, 2018, at The Wembley Stadium. Time is 4:15 pm.

“Our official training starts immediately after, at 5 pm”.

Both the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Three Lions of England are using the friendly game to prepare for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia this month.

The Super Eagles will compete in Group D alongside perennial foes Argentina, Iceland and Croatia while England will battle African opposition Tunisia, Panama and Belgium in Group G.
