Juventus Ready To Break The Bank For Osimhen

Reports claim that Juventus are prepared to pay a fee above the release clause in Victor Osimhen’s contract with Napoli to bring him to the Allianz Stadium in the summer transfer window once his loan deal with Galatasaray is complete.

Osimhen is currently out on loan with Galatasaray after a permanent move away from Napoli collapsed spectacularly at the end of last summer’s transfer window.

The Nigerian international has found the net 24 times in 27 league appearances this term, 33 in 37 matches across all competitions.

However, Osimhen is expected to be sold by Napoli once he returns from his loan spell in Istanbul.

There are several clubs in Europe and Asia hopeful of striking a deal for the 26-year-old, including Juventus, who are hoping to move on Dusan Vlahovic in the summer and rebuild their own attacking department.

Osimhen has a €75m release clause in his contract, which is only valid for teams outside of Italy.

As Juventus are unable to activate Osimhen’s release clause, they are prepared to invest €85m in a transfer fee and bonuses to persuade Napoli to sell him to them, according to reports from Corriere dello Sport.

Given that there is no release clause in play, it will still be up to Napoli to decide whether or not to accept the offer.

While the Bianconeri are prepared to go above and beyond for Osimhen, they are not the only club interested, as Friday’s reports claim that  Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal are prepared to meet his release clause and offer him a staggering set of personal terms, potentially above €30m per season in wages.
