NPFL Week 19 Round Up: Lobi Stars Still Top, Lokosa Scores Goal Number 16
Lobi Stars of Markudi maintained top spot in the NPFL table after a dramatic 1-1 draw in Akure, Lobi Stars scored what looked like the winning goal through Samad Kadiri in the 89th minute only to concede an equaliser deep into added time as Jide Fatokun scored for the host to give them a point.
In Umuahia, Abia Warriors defeated Rivers United 2-1 to move up to 10th on the league table, this is the sixth win of the campaign for Abia Warriors. El Kanemi Warriors overcame Nasarawa United 2-0 in Maiduguri through goals by Antonio Desousa and Michael Ohanu to hand the Lafia based team their 11th defeat of the season.

In Minna, Niger Tornadoes defeated hard fighting MFM of Lagos 1-0 through a goal scored by Abubakar Ndayebo in the 13th minute. Niger Tornadoes are now second on the table, four points adrift of league leaders Lobi Stars.
Defending champions Plateau United managed a lone goal victory over Katsina United in Jos, Emmanuel Odafe scored the only goal in the 56th minute to help Plateau United record a 9th win of the season. Plateau United are now fourth on the league table with 3 games in hand.
Yobe Desert Stars and Kwara United shared the points in Damaturu as the match ended goalless despite the best efforts of the host, they could not find the back of the net. The single point ensured that Kwara United is now four points clear of bottom team Heartland on the NPFL table.
