Nigerian Premier League: Anthony Okpotu Catches The Eyes Of Three Top Danish Clubs
Home based Super Eagles and Lobi Stars top striker, Anthony Okpotu has caught the attention of three top Danish clubs and is been linked with a move to the Danish top-flight soon.
According to a report on Soka25east, it is believed that the 2017 NPFL Golden Boot winner has attracted the interest of three Danish league giants FC Nordjælland, FC Midtjylland, and Brondby IF.
FC Nordjælland are reported to have already tabled an undisclosed bid as they look forward to having his signature during the summer transfer window.
Anthony Okpotu was the top scorer last season with 19 goals in the domestic league. The 24-year-old player featured prominently in the recently concluded (CHAN) tournament in Morocco where he helped Nigeria win the Silver Medal.
If the planned move to Denmark works out as planned, this will be Anthony Okpotu’s second professional stint outside the country, having earlier played for Al-Ittihad of Libya. The All Nigeria Football family wishes him all the best in his quest to get a professional contract outside the country.
