Nigerian Players Score 3 Goals To Inspire Orebro To A Come Back Win In The Swedish League

Orebro parading two Nigerians in their starting line up Kennedy Igboananike and Michael Omoh hosted Dalkurd FF at the Behrn Arena in week 6 of the Swedish Allsvenskan, the third Nigerian in Orebro Isaac Boye was not listed in the matchday squad.

The first half of the encounter ended goalless with very little to separate both teams, the game, however, burst into life in the second period as Dalkurd against the run of play took the lead through winger Yukiya Sugita in the 55th minute and 19 minutes later they doubled their lead through Mohamed Turay.

Dalkurd at this point were firmly on course for their second win in the league, the score remained 2-0 in favour of the visiting team until in the 80th minute when Nigerian Michael Omoh pulled one goal back for Orebro and four minutes later fellow Nigerian Kennedy

Igboananike equalised for Orebro to make the score 2-2.

Kennedy Igboananike was not done yet as he popped up with the winner for Orebro deep into added time to complete a remarkable 10 minutes turnaround for Orebro inspired by their Nigerian imports.

The win ensured that Oerebro preserved their unbeaten start to the season with three wins and three draws so far, they are now third on the table with 12 points from six matches. The goals by Kennedy Igboananike was his first and second goal of the new Swedish season. The former DC United striker in the MLS scored 9 goals for Orebro in 23 appearances last season.
