Nigerian Players Abroad: Super Eagles Defender, Tyronne Ebuehi Returns To Training After Injury Scare

Super Eagles defender, Tyronne Ebuehi has returned back to training with his Dutch club, ADO Den Haag, this is a big boost for Nigeria’s head coach Gernot Rorh ahead of this month’s friendly matches against Poland and Serbia.

Ebuehi picked up a groin injury while in action for his Dutch club ADO Den Haag in an Eredivisie clash against Sadiq Umar’s NAC Breda last Saturday. The club confirmed the injury of Tyronne Ebuehi 3 days ago but did not state for how long he will be out of action.

However, in a short clip posted on the club’s official website yesterday, the defender was seen among the players who trained ahead of Saturday’s clash against struggling Excelsior.

If indeed he is fit to play again this month, he will definitely be a wonderful addition to the Super Eagles squad billed to play Poland in a tune-up game on March 23rd in Warsaw and then face Serbia four days later at the Hive stadium in London.

Ebuehi has made 26 appearances for ADO Den Haag in the Eredivisie this season and has been in scintillating form, he just made his debut for Nigeria in an international friendly game against Argentina last November coming in as a second half substitute for Shehu Abdullahi in the game which Nigeria fought back from two goals down to record an amazing 4-2 victory.
