How Efe Ambrose Embarrassment On The Pitch Made Me Want To Cry; Glasgow Rangers Star Reveals

Glasgow Rangers of Scotland rising midfield star Jamie Barjonas has revealed that Hibernian and Nigerian defender Efe Ambrose nutmegging him ranks as his most embarrassing moment in the game and he went further to state that the act made him want to curl up into a ball and cry.

The youngster lined up for Glasgow Rangers against Hibernian earlier this season, but his game was spoiled as he was left terribly embarrassed when former Celtic centre-back Efe Ambrose slid the ball through his legs. Barjonas said he has no doubt the incident was one of complete embarrassment and admits he wanted to cry.

He told Rangers TV: “When I got nutmegged by Efe Ambrose [was my most embarrassing moment].

“100 percent! I knew exactly after he did it. I just wanted to roll into a wee ball and cry”, he added.

Jamie Barjonas admits that he was guilty of knowing that Efe Ambrose was going to nutmeg him before it happened.

“I saw it coming as well a mile away.”

Jamie Barjonas, who is only 19, has impressed this season and have made nine appearances for Glasgow Rangers in the Scottish Premiership so far this season.

The midfielder is highly rated at Glasgow Rangers and is under contract at Ibrox until 2020. He will be looking to continue with the development of his football career even as a new management team is expected to take over the administration of the club.
