The teams have only met on four occasions since 1999, with Huddersfield winning a League Cup tie at Stamford Bridge during that year and Chelsea registering victories in the FA Cup in West London during 2006 and 2008.
However, in the reverse fixture earlier this season, Chelsea claimed a comfortable 3-1 victory against Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Conte has confirmed that Alvaro Morata is available for selection after recovering from the fitness issue that ruled him out of the Liverpool clash. Morata will likely be on the substitutes’ bench, while one of Ross Barkley or Pedro will make way for him in the 18-man squad.
David Luiz and Danny Drinkwater are still out injured and are likely not to play any part in the club’s final game of the season at Stamford Bridge.
David Wagner has revealed that Tom Ince is back in contention for selection after spending time on the sidelines since April 14.
Defenders Terence Kongolo and Chris Lowe are both carrying knocks, but Wagner hopes to have the pair in his squad for the trip to Stamford Bridge.
