Arsenal Want To Sign Leicester City Midfield Star Wilfred Ndidi

Arsenal is considering making a move for Leicester City’s Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi. The Nigerian joined Leicester City in January 2017 from Belgium club Genk for a fee of €17.6M as a direct replacement for Ngolo Kante who left for Chelsea after winning the Premiership title with Leicester City.

Wilfred Ndidi has been in scintillating form since joining Leicester City, his displays in the English Premiership has been turning the heads of managers. Ndidi has attracted interest from top European clubs like Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester United.

Wilfred Ndidi has played 31 Premier League games for Leicester City this season, and he has started in all the matches. The only match he missed was as a result of a sending off and just last week he was also sent off in the match against Brighton due to the two yellows card he received during the match.

The Mail on Sunday claim Arsenal is keen to sign Leicester midfielder Wilfried Ndidi this summer. The 21-year-old has impressed since joining the Foxes in a €17.6M deal from Belgian side Genk in January 2017 and Arsene Wenger sees him as the perfect fit for his midfield.

Arsenal has not released an official statement on their interest in the Leicester City player and with all the speculation flying around on his club destination next season. Wilfred Ndidi has come out to say that he is very comfortable playing for Leicester City at the moment and not interested in leaving the club for now.
