Anderlecht Interested In Signing Henry Onyekuru From Monaco

Belgian giants Anderlecht have expressed their interest in signing Nigeria winger Henry Onyekuru from Monaco this summer.

Onyekuru who had a torrid time at Monaco before securing a loan to Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray has been in fine form for the Turkish giants in recent times.

The 22-year-old Nigerian winger spent the 2017/2018 campaign on loan at Anderlecht from English Premier League outfit Everton.

He raked in an impressive tally of 10 goals in 28 appearances for the Belgian club before suffering a serious knee injury which abruptly ended his season.

The interest from Anderlecht may throw a spanner into the dreams Galatasaray extending Onyekuru’s loan stay for another season.

The former KAS Eupen player joined Monaco last summer from Everton but made just four appearances before linking up with Galatasaray on loan during the January transfer window.
