Wilfred Ndidi And Kelechi Iheanacho Nominated For Leicester City Young Player Of The Season Award
The Nigerian duo of Leicester City Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho have been nominated for the 2017/18 Leicester City Young Player of the Season award.
The award winners will be determined through voting by Leicester City supporters who can vote for three award categories ahead of the Club’s 2017/18 End of Season Dinner.
Wilfred Nididi won last season’s Leicester City Young Player of the Season award and is the favourite to take home this year’s award after churning out impressive displays in Leicester City’s colours this season.

Kelechi Iheanacho’s goal in the Foxes’ 5-1 victory over Peterborough United in the Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round tie was also nominated as contender for goal of the season award, however Iheanacho is up against top players like Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez for this award.
Wilfred Ndidi is also a contender for Leicester City Player of the Season award, Ndidi is one of the favourites to take home this award and he also has big names like Jamie Vardy, Kasper Schmeichel and Riyad mahrez to battle with for the award.
Leicester City supporters can vote for three categories – Player of the Season, Young Player of the Season and Goal of the Season and the deadline for voting is Friday 20 April.

The glamorous awards ceremony takes place on the evening of Tuesday 1 May, as Foxes stars and guests alike will enjoy a four-course dinner at King Power Stadium as the season’s best players and moments are celebrated with deserving awards in three different categories.
