Kelechi Nwakali Set To Join Porto On Loan From Arsenal

Arsenal youngster Kelechi Nwakali is set to join Portuguese club FC Porto on a season-long loan from Arsenal. It will be the third loan spell away from Arsenal for the former U17 World Cup winner and captain since he joined the Gunners in 2016.

The 20-year-old midfielder has previously been on loan at Dutch clubs MVV Maastricht and VVV Venlo in the last two seasons. He got significant game time experience at both clubs and Arsenal top management is satisfied with his performance.

It is believed that Arsenal is sending him to Porto possibly because they want the young midfielder to have a taste of what it looks like to play in a big European club competing in the UEFA Champions League to aid his development before he steps up into the Gunners first team.
