U-20 AFCON: 25 Players Off To Morocco For A Training Tour
Ladan Bosso, Flying Eagles head coach has released the list of 25 players that will leave the country today enroute to Morroco where the team will put finishing touches to preparations for the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations starting on the 19th of February in Egypt.
The team led by coach Ladan Bosso will train in Morocco, where they will play two warm-up matches against Benin Republic and South Sudan before they land in Egypt for the U-20 AFCON.
Ladan Bosso will submit to CAF, a final 21-man squad list for the U-20 AFCON on or before the 9th of February 2023, which means that four more players in Morocco will be sent home before the final list is released.

Nigeria will slug it out in very tough Group A along side host country, Egypt, Senegal, and Mozambique. The Flying Eagles will begin their quest for a record eighth U-20 AFCON title on February 19 against Senegal in Cairo.

DEFENDERS: Daniel Bamaiyi (YumYum FC), Michael Ologo ( Instanbulspor), Abel Ogwuche ( Trelleborgs FF), Solomon Agbalaka (Broad City), Augustine Njoku (Abia Warriors), Benjamin Frederick (Nasarawa United).
MIDFIELDERS: Daniel Daga (Dakkada FC), Onuche Ogbelu (Nasarawa United), Musa Usman, Mohammed Aminu ( Mailantarki FC), Jonathan Nicholas (Simoiben FC), Shatima Umar( Mahaniam FC), Caleb Ochedikwu (Mavlon FC), Samson Lawal (Unattached).
FORWARDS: Jude Sunday (Realsaphier FC), Francis Ayuba (Nasarawa United), Adams Olamilekan (Remo Stars), Ahmed Abdullahi (Gent), Haliru Sarki (Maikunkele FC), Emmanuel Uchegbu (Plateau United), Ibrahim Mohammed (Mavlon FC), Kingsley James (Unattached).
The AFCON U-20 tournament will also double as the African qualifiers for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be held in Indonesia. The top four teams will qualify for the World Cup.
