That run ended suddenly in their last league match, when Okan Buruk’s team lost 4-0 to Trabzonspor. It was their first defeat of the season and left them tied on points with leaders Amed, but behind on goal difference.
The loss also highlighted a defensive issue for the champions, as Galatasaray have let in 10 goals in their first six league games—more than expected.
Still, they have scored 13 goals so far. Four came in the 4-0 win over Erzurumspor, and they scored three each in consecutive wins against Goztepe and Basaksehir.
Kasimpasa, though, have quietly built one of the best defensive records early in the season. Only Kocaelispor, with four goals conceded, have let in fewer goals than Kasimpasa in the Super Lig so far.

But Kasimpasa have lost three of their last four games at RAMS Park. Their most recent visit ended in a 3-0 win for Galatasaray.
Kasimpasa’s unbeaten run and strong defense could make this match harder for Galatasaray than the league table suggests.
Still, the champions have home advantage and more attacking options, so they are likely to win by a small margin.
