Super Falcons Coach Invites 17 Players For France Friendly
Super Falcons coach Thomas Dennerby has invited 17 players for the friendly game against France. Nigeria’s female national team, the Super Falcons will tackle Les Bleues (The Blues) of France in an international friendly slated to take place at the Stade MMArena in the city of Le Mans, France on Friday, 6th April.
According to information obtained on the NFF official website on Thursday, the official list released does not include the current African Women’s Player of the Year Asisat Oshoala but has other notable names like Desire Oparanozie, Rita Chikwelu, Francisca Ordega and Ngozi Okobi.
A delegation of officials and some players will depart Nigeria from the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport, Abuja on 3rd of April and will lodge at the Mercure Le Mans Centre.
U.S –based forward and former Super Falconet star Courtney Dike and Francisca Ortega would be first arrivals in Le Mans on Tuesday, 3rd April before the delegation from Nigeria joins them. The Super Falcons will lodge at the Mercure Le Mans Centre.

The Super Falcons Head coach is Thomas Dennerby and team Captain is Evelyn Nwabuoku, she currently plays for En Avant de Guingamp in the French Division 1 Féminine and was not invited for this match. Time for the friendly match is 8.00pm Nigerian time.
