PSG Present Contract Offer To Ademola Lookman

Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have presented an attractive contract offer to Super Eagles of Nigeria and Atalanta of Italy forward Ademola Lookman and the Serie A club could lose the player this summer.

Lookman asked not to be included in Atalanta’s squad for the game against Lecce on Monday evening and he is already aware of the interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

Calciomercato has reported that while PSG hasn’t made contact with Atalanta and hasn’t made an official bid, they have contacted Lookman’s entourage and have presented an offer to him.

It is too early to know if Lookman will surely leave or not but some steps are being taken to show he is keen on a move to PSG.

PSG has offered the player €4.5 million per season, which is a big upgrade on the €1.8 million per season that he earns at La Dea.

For now, no contact has been made with Atalanta but they want a fee of at least €40 million to sell the ex-Fulham player, who seems quite interested in a move to Paris.

Atalanta reportedly wants at least €40m to sell Ademola Lookman but are extremely irritated with Paris Saint-Germain approaching the player first, offering to more than double his salary.

The striker scored a hat-trick in the Europa League Final victory over Bayer Leverkusen last season and started the UEFA Super Cup against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

However, they have not yet contacted Atalanta to begin negotiations, an approach that infuriated La Dea, especially as they are dealing with a similar problem around Teun Koopmeiners and Juventus.

With this in mind, and it being so late in the day to find a replacement, they want at least €40m to even consider selling Lookman.

The forward was born in England but plays his international football for Nigeria and turns 27 in October.
