Dynamo Kiev vs Mariupol

Dynamo Kyiv and fierce domestic rivals Shakhtar Donetsk are at each other’s neck again for the domestic title,  Shakhtar Donetsk is currently top of the league table with three points ahead of  Dynamo Kyiv in the second position with just three games of the season left to play.

This is a must-win game for Dynamo Kiev, they can not afford to drop points at this crucial stage. Aleksandr Khatskevich’s men scored four goals in back-to-back wins over Dnipro-1 and Veres before clinching a narrow 1-0 success away at third-placed Vorskla through a Dieumerci Mbokani strike.

Mariupol’ showed how poor they can be in defence by conceding as many as five goals in the recent cup loss to Shakhtar Donetsk. They ’ve also lost their last two league matches to Zorya and Shakhtar.

Dynamo Kyiv are desperate for a win, and Mariupol is not a team that can trouble them, Dynamo Kyiv has completely dominated previous matches between both teams history. Dynamo Kyiv has won 19, drew 4 and lost only 2 of 25 head to head encounters against Mariupol. It’s difficult to look beyond a comprehensive victory for Dynamo Kyiv, so Dynamo Kyiv will win this match quite comfortable is our prediction.
