We wish you the Best of Luck! Here are previews to some of the matches:
Inter Milan vs Juventus
Juventus will travel to the San Siro Stadium to play Inter Milan in yet another tough encounter that will test the readiness of the Old Lady to win the Scudetto this season. Juventus come into this game with just one point from their last two matches, they drew 1-1 with Crotone away and then lost 1-0 at home to Napoli.
Juventus have some fierce battles to overcome if they are to retain the Scudetto this season, in the last few matches of the season, Massimiliano Allegri’s men will take on Inter, and then Roma just before the final match of the season, both Inter Milan and Roma are involved in the struggle for a Champions League qualification slot, hence they will give Juve a good run for their money.
Inter Milan are in the fifth position on the Serie A table, just one point behind fourth-placed Lazio. The Nerazzurri are desperate for points that will push them above Lazio to claim the last Champions League qualification slot. Juventus will be under intense pressure going into this game because anything less than a win could see Napoli leapfrog them into the top spot. Juventus has Napoli breathing down its neck for the Scudetto title, just one point separate first and second on the Serie A table, so neither of them can afford to slip up.
Juventus have not lost in their last 11 games away and Inter Milan have been unbeaten in their last eight home matches. Inter Milan have been very tidy at the back, they have managed to keep a clean sheet in their last four matches. This will be a very tight game and we are predicting Juventus to win or draw (X2).
Bayer Leverkusen vs Stuttgart
Bayer Leverkusen will hope to recover from humiliating losses to Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund respectively. Die Werkself conceded as many as ten goals in consecutive defeats to those German heavyweight clubs. They host Stuttgart at the Bay Arena on Saturday and will hope to use the match to assuage their fans and get back to winning ways.
Heiko Herrlich’s men are now a point behind Hoffenheim who has displaced them in the fourth position as a result of their 3-1 home victory over Hannover on Friday night. Bayer Leverkusen will be eager to regain fourth place and Champions League qualification next season.
Stuttgart will not be an easy nut to crack, Stuttgart has shown that they can win games on the road, they won three away games in a row in the Bundesliga before the 3-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund in their last away fixture. Leverkusen desperately needs the points here, and playing at home we believe they have enough talent to take all three points and reclaim fourth place from Hoffenheim. Our prediction is a difficult but a home win for Leverkusen at the Bay Arena.
Lyon vs Nantes
Lyon will entertain Nantes at the Groupama Stadium on Saturday evening, Lyon is in great form and also in need of points to see off the challenge of Marseille in the battle for third place and Champions League football next season. Lyon has won 5 games in a row and will be huge favourites to dispatch Nantes quite easily.
Lyon has won 3 consecutive home matches before this one and overall they have won 9 games from 16 and lost just two times at home this season. Nantes have experienced a serious dip in form just when they really needed it to push for European football next season, they are currently 4 points adrift of 5th place and the last slot for European football.
Nantes have not won an away game this year and against a super desperate Lyon team that is in a terrific form, it will take some sort of miracle for them to overcome Lyon at home. It looks like Nantes poor away form will continue in this game. Our prediction is a comfortable victory for Lyon at home.
Monaco vs Amiens
Coach Louis Jardim’s side has lost their form of recent, their Champions League qualification for next season now hangs in the balance and they have seen a comfortable 7 points gap breached to just one. Monaco is in second place on the league table but a slip can see them pushed down to the fourth position and out of Champions League football next season because the duo of Lyon and Marseille are just one point behind them in third and fourth place respectively.
Even with their poor form, Monaco has managed to maintain a decent home record, they have won their last five consecutive home matches and has lost just once at home all season. Through their excellent home form, Monaco has accumulated a commendable 44 points from a possible 51 at home.
Amiens is in 13th on the league table with 40 points, they safe from relegation and have nothing to motivate them for the match except pride, they travel to Monaco with three wins from their last four matches. Monaco is massive favourites to win these match and we believe should be able to get the job done quite comfortably. Our prediction is a comfortable home win for Monaco.
Benfica vs Tondela
Benfica will welcome Tondela at the Estadio da Luz on Saturday evening, Tondela is unbeaten in their last four league matches, but their unbeaten streak will be on a huge test by a Benfica team in need of points to close the gap on league leaders Porto.
Benfica was coasting home to the league title some weeks ago before their home clash against fierce rivals Porto, but Hector Herrera’s stoppage-time goal changed everything and brought Porto a huge win that sees them two points clear at the summit of the league.
Rui Vitoria and his charges are now condemned to win their last three games and hope for a Porto’s slip-up at the same time in order to grab the league title. Benfica nearly dropped points at lowly Estoril last week but scored a late goal to claim all three points. Against Tondela, there should be no room for complacency. Our prediction is an easy home win for Benfica.
