The Gunners limped to a 1-1 draw in Portugal against Vitoria Guimaraes on Wednesday, following up what was an equally flat display against Wolves the previous weekend in another 1-1 tie, and Emery’s penchant for making strange tactical decisions continues to draw heavy criticism.

Arsenal’s players are performing with the air of a squad that knows a change in the dugout is coming, and in that frame of mind, they look ill-equipped to cope with a rampant looking Leicester City side this weekend.

Poor travellers Arsenal are without a league win on the road since their opening weekend of the season victory at Newcastle, and with the Gunners looking so brittle in every department, Leicester City is priced incredibly generously to beat them in the match result markets for Saturday.

While we expect Leicester to take all three points, we don’t see the Foxes winning by a huge margin. Free-scoring Liverpool is the only team to score more than two goals against Arsenal in the Premier League so far this season, and despite their poor overall results, the Gunners managed to register in 10 of their 11 top-flight fixtures since August.

More recently, Arsenal have conceded an average of 2.2 goals per 90 minutes over their last five matches, while Leicester scored exactly two goals in four of their seven Premier League wins this term. With those figures acknowledged, we’re backing a Leicester City win or draw as our prediction.
