Super Falcons Of Nigeria Commences Training Ahead Of France Friendly

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will hold their first training session on Thursday morning under the watchful eyes of coach Thomas Dennerby at about 1000 hours, ahead of the international friendly match against Les Bleus (The Blues) of France slated to take place at the Stade MMArena in the city of Le Mans, France on Friday, 6th April.

All invited 18 players are already in camp and rearing to go, Excelsior striker Sophia Omidiji and Barcelona defender Ngozi Ebere were the last two players to arrive at the team’s Mercure Le Mans Hotel.

England based Ini Umotong arrived the team’s camp just before Sophia and Ebere, after playing for her team Brighton & Hove Albion over the weekend.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will have a light workout at Le Clos Fleuri ground tomorrow morning before having their second training session at the Stade MMArena, the venue of the match by 1800 hours.

Goalkeepers: Onyinyechukwu Okeke; Chiamaka Nnadozie.

Defenders: Josephine Chukwunonye; Ngozi Ebere; Faith Ikidi; Ugo Njoku; Osinachi Ohale; Glory Ogbonna.

Midfielders: Rita Chikwelu; Ngozi Okobi; Ini-Abasi Umotong; Ogonna Chukwu.

Forwards: Francisca Ordega; Desire Oparanozie; Sophia Omidiji; Esther Sunday; Ini Umotong; Anam Imo.

Time for the France against Nigeria friendly match is 9.00pm Nigerian time.
