Rasheedat Ajibade And 20 Others To Represent Nigeria At The 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup

Christopher Danjuma, head coach of the Super Falconets of Nigeria has named a final list of 21 for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup taking place in France early next month.

The Super Falconet squad consist of three goalkeepers, six defenders, seven midfielders and five strikers. The team is led by FC Robo forward, Rasheedat Ajibade, and other notable names in the squad are Saheed Adebisi, Monday Gift and Ucheibe Christy.

Nigeria is in Group D and will lock horns with Haiti, China and Germany at the competition. The Falconets’ first match will be against familiar foes Germany on Monday 6th August, at the Stade de Marville in Saint-Malo.

Nigeria will play her second match against Haiti at the same venue on Thursday, 9th August and four days later at the Dinan/Léhon’s Stade de Clos Gastel, the Falconets will play their final group game against China.

The Christopher Danjuma tutored team is currently in Austria for a 12-day training exercise in preparation for the World Cup and the team is expected to leave Austria on August 2nd for France.
