This extends Chelsea’s unbeaten start to the season in all competitions, with that stretching to eight games now, seven of which have ended in victory. Their goalless draw at West Ham last weekend was a poor result, but they will be hoping to inflict some damage in the Premier League title race on Saturday.

Liverpool are the only side in the Premier League to maintain a perfect start to the league season, with their comfortable 3-0 defeat of Southampton last weekend making it six wins from six for Jurgen Klopp’s men. It’s been an impressive early charge for the title, but Liverpool fans will be very wary of how that defeat to Chelsea could affect them.

Up until the Eden Hazard masterclass from the bench, Liverpool has looked very assured at the back this season. They did ship two against PSG, but the Premier League has seen them concede just two goals in six games so far. However, they’ll be up against the dazzling feet of Hazard again on Saturday, and the chances of them keeping a Chelsea side led by him at bay are slim.
