Spartak Moscow vs FK Akhmat

Spartak Moscow has struggled a bit in the last couple of matches, losing away to Ural in the league and bowing out to Tosno in the Russian Cup. They are now in third place in the league standing and six points behind league leaders Lokomotiv Moscow.

Spartak will be desperate to back into second place and close the gap on the league leaders with a win this evening. How their opponent Akhmat Grozny is no easy meat, they recently held Lokomotiv Moscow to a goalless draw at home and will be looking for a similar result here.

FK Akhmat is just three-point above the relegation zone, Igor Ledyakhov’s men have struggled to find any sort of consistency on the road this season and should be ready to spell blood if they are to take any point from the Otkrytiye Arena or cause an upset in today’s match.

Spartak has been very convincing at home this season, they seem to be motivated and play much better in front of the home crowd, our prediction is a win for Spartak Moscow.

Fenerbahce vs Antalyaspor

Fenerbahce play host to Antalyaspor for the last game of the round 30 matches, Fenerbahce are currently fourth on the Super Lig table, six points behind leaders Galatasaray. They are desperate for points to push them up the table, they want to win the league or at least finish among the top two in order to guarantee Champions League football next season.

Aykut Kocaman’s men have won their last three league matches and would love to extend that three-match winning streak, they comfortably dispatched Kayserispor, Osmanlıspor, and Sivasspor, scoring nine goals and conceding just one in the process.

Antalyaspor, on the other hand, is no pushovers, they come into this match on the back of an unbeaten streak of their own,  they have a four-game unbeaten streak with three wins in a row and a draw at Konyaspor. They can cause a problem for any team who underrates them.

Hamza Hamzaoglu’s men will prove a tough nut to crack but Fenerbahce will have too much firepower for them to handle, our prediction is a win for Fenerbahce.

AC Ajaccio vs RC Lens

AC Ajaccio is in the hunt for automatic promotion back into Ligue 1, AC Ajaccio has been in fine form all through the season and they have won four of their last five matches losing just one which was away to current league leaders Reims.

AC Ajaccio is third on the table with 63 points from 31 matches, and a win against RC Lens might take them into second place if Nimes loss their match at home to Lorient. An automatic promotion spot is at stake here, its a straight fight between AC Ajaccio and Nimes for the second spot.

Reims might have won the Ligue 2 title and claimed the first automatic promotion spot since they are 13 points clear of their closest rivals Nimes.

RC Lens, on the other hand, are nine points clear of the relegation zone, they have had an inconsistent season so far, winning one, drawing three and losing one of their last five away matches. AC Ajaccio has won their last five home matches.

This is a match that  AC Ajaccio is desperate to win because they need points to move up the table and claim the second automatic promotion spot. Our prediction is either a win or draw situation for AC Ajaccio.
