Ahmed Musa Paints Russian League Red With Goals; Scores Twice In CSKA Moscow 6-0 Win

The Nigeria international Ahmed Musa was at his best as he scored twice to help CSKA Moscow outclass Arsenal Tula 6-0 in a Russian Premier League match on Sunday at the VEB Arena.

Fedor Chalov got the curtain raiser two minutes into the game and the on-loan Leicester City striker Ahmed Musa doubled the lead in the 11th minute from a Vitinho assist.

Fedor Chalov scored in the 21st and 43rd minute to complete his hattrick and in between Chalov’s goals, Aleksandr Golovin’s also scored as the hosts went into the break 5-0 up.

Just 4 minutes into the second period Musa scored his second goal and CSKA’s sixth to wrap up a commanding win for the Red and White over a helpless Arsenal Tula side.

This is Musa’s 5th league goal in 9 appearances for CSKA Moscow since he rejoined the Russian side from Leicester City on loan in January till the end of the current campaign. Ahmed Musa has started in all 9 league matches that he has featured for CSKA Moscow this season and has played a total of 772 minutes.

CSKA Moscow is still third place on the league log with 56 points from 29 games and 4 points behind current league leaders Lokomotiv Moscow. Ahmed Musa and fellow teammates will file out against Anzhi Makhachkala on the 13th of May and Musa would hope to get on the score sheet and help his team to victory.
