English FA Cup: Leicester City Off To Spain For Preparation Against Chelsea
Ahead of the quarter-final FA cup clash with Chelsea coming up this weekend, Leicester City Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho are on the plane to Spain with the rest of their Leicester City teammates for a four-day training camp.
Leicester City sees the F.A cup as their only realistic chance of wining a trophy this season, hence they leaving no stone unturned in preparing for the forth coming encounter against Chelsea this Sunday, March 18.
Claude Puel’s men are flying out to a warm-weather training camp near Marbella to prepare for what is arguably their biggest game of the season. It will also be good preparation for the final eight games of the season with City still in with a mathematical chance of claiming a Europa League qualification spot.
City have been boosted by their 4-1 victory over West Brom on Saturday which kept them in touch with Burnley, who are seventh and enjoyed another victory at West Ham United. Leicester City coach, Claude Puel said the trip would ensure they were ready for the challenges ahead.
“It’s a good opportunity for the squad to spend some time together and to make sure we are well prepared both for next weekend’s game and for the final eight Premier League matches of the season,” said Puel.
