Bet Of The Day Tips Tuesday, 24th April 2018
For today’s Bet Of The Day Tips, there are four matches on the list, although we try our best to always bring you the best games with the highest possibility of winning, football prediction sometimes is highly volatile because of so many factors that could suddenly change the outcome of a match.
So the most time we advice that you bet responsibly and only with an amount that you can afford to lose. However, football betting is a huge business with lots of money in it and our primary responsibility is to help you win all the time, if possible. So here are today’s games:
Derby vs Cardiff
Things are hotting up in the English Championship with about two games left to play, the second automatic qualification spot is a straight fight between Fulham and Cardiff City. Today’s game is a must win for Cardiff City as they play away to Derby County in the matchday 44 of the 2017/18 season.
Cardiff City is currently second on the table and just one point above Fulham, while Fulham has played 44 games, Cardiff has a game in hand which is tonight’s game against Derby County.
A draw will still be a good result for Neil Warnock’s men as it will give them a two points cushion over Fulham going into the last two games of the season.
Derby County is also in the hunt for a promotion playoff spot and is just a point behind Millwall occupying the last promotion playoff spot, so Derby County can not afford to equally lose this match because a loss would almost end their playoff dreams even with two games still to be played.
Cardiff is in a better form going into this match, they have enjoyed back-to-back wins against Nottingham Forest and Norwich City. They have bounced back from the disappointment of the loss to Aston Villa and Wolves in previous weeks.
Derby County’s form has taken a nosedive since the start of the year, currently, they have lost three matches on the trot and their home form has also been terrible as well.
Cardiff City has the momentum on their side, they are so desperate to return to the Premier League next season, so I expect them to at least pick a draw here. Our prediction is Cardiff City win or draw.
Bristol Rovers vs Wigan Athletic
Wigan has done really well for themselves this season, they are back in the Championship just 12 months after they were relegated. Even though they have gained promotion, the League One title is still up for grabs and it is a straight battle between them and Blackburn Rovers who are just three points behind Wigan in the third position.
On the other hand, Bristol Rovers season is well and truly over, they have little left to play for as they sit pretty comfortably in 12th position on the log. They cannot make the promotion play-offs since they are 13 points behind Scunthorpe United who currently occupy the last playoff spot.
They are also 9 points clear of the relegation zone with three games left to play which means their safety is almost guaranteed. Wigan Athletic are in terrific form and this has seen them secure automatic promotion to the Championship even with three games to spare.
Wigan will still desire to win the League one title, so they still have something to play for and our prediction here is a win or draw for Wigan.
