It is difficult to look beyond a victory for Celtic, two weeks ago they demolished Rangers 4-0 in the semi-final of the Scottish FA Cup. Celtic has dominated the league for so long and with top talents like Moussa Dembele, Leigh Griffiths, Scott Sinclair and many others in their team, Celtic will continue to rule the Scottish league for a long time to come. Our prediction is Celtic to win or draw this match.
Manchester United vs Arsenal
The Premier League clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford comes at the worst possible time for Arsene Wenger because he has to rest his key men for the Europa League semi-final second leg match against Atletico Madrid at Estadio Wanda Metropolitano.
This match is not getting so much attention because there is nothing really to play for except pride. The entire atmosphere surrounding the final clash between Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger in the Premier League is subdued, Arsenal has their main focus elsewhere while Manchester United will be looking to cement the second position by grabbing all three points on offer.
The Red Devils are huge favourites to claim victory in this match, but Wenger’s men still have a say on what happens on the pitch, even with a heavily rotated squad, Arsenal is expected to give United a run for their money. Our prediction is Manchester United to win or draw.
Deportivo La Coruna vs Barcelona
Barcelona will claim the La Liga title for 2017/18 season with a victory over Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday. Barcelona could, however, be crowned Champions even before they kick a ball, that’s if Atletico Madrid did not claim all three points against Alaves.
It seems like Deportivo is doing just enough to stay in the relegation battle, but there is nothing convincing to suggest they will earn safety in May. They must win all their remaining four games and hope that Levante above them do not win at least a game from any of their remaining matches.
All things being equal, Barcelona will be crowned Spanish La Liga Champions with a win at the Riazor tonight, while Deportivo’s relegation from the top flight will be confirmed as well. We predict a Barcelona win tonight and it could be a massive scoreline in favour of the Catalan club.
