Ahmed Musa Scores Two Goals To Help CSKA Moscow Get A Valuable Win
Ahmed Musa was in delightful form for CSKA Moscow in a Russian Premier League match as he scored two well-taken goals to help his team record a valuable 2-1 victory over visiting FC Krasnodar at the VEB Arena.
The first stanza ended in a stalemate as both teams could not convert their chances. On resumption of the second period, FC Krasnodar took the lead against the run of play through Yuri Gazinskiy in the 53rd minute. It was looking like a bad day for CSKA Moscow as they struggled to put the ball at the back of the net.
However, Ahmed Musa had other ideas as he got the equaliser in the 73rd minutes, thirteen minutes later Musa scored the winning goal. CSKA Moscow held on for a hard-fought victory. The win pushed CSKA Moscow into second place, six points behind league leaders Lokomotiv Moscow.

CSKA Moscow has 51 points from 21 matches played so far. This is Ahmed Musa’s third league goal of the season since he rejoined CSKA Moscow on loan from Leicester City in January.
